Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of noellehub.org and to the NoelleHUB Membership. Provider: NoelleHUB, Niklas Noetzel (sole proprietor), c/o IP-Management #3628, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany, info@noellehub.org (“we”). The contract language is English.
2. Account
You need a free account to use the study tools and to start a membership. Please give correct details and keep your password secret. One account is for one person.
3. Membership and free trial
The NoelleHUB Membership gives access to the entire NoelleHUB library for as long as it runs. The contract is concluded when you complete the checkout. First-time members get a free trial of 1 day; if you do not cancel during the trial, the paid membership starts automatically. The price is shown before the order (currently €6.99 per month) and is charged monthly in advance via our payment provider Stripe. As a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge VAT.
4. Term and cancellation
The membership runs month by month and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period or at a later date of your choice. You can cancel via “Cancel membership” at the bottom of every page (no login needed), in your account, or by email. You keep access until the end date. The right to cancel for good cause remains unaffected.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Because access to the digital content starts immediately at your express request, it expires as described on the page “Right of withdrawal”. Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing; months already paid are not refunded.
6. Permitted use
Your membership is personal. You may use the content for your own exam preparation for as long as the membership runs. In particular, it is not permitted to share your account, to use it on more than one device at the same time, to copy, publish, sell or pass on content, or to download content automatically (e.g. by scripts or scrapers). If these rules are seriously or repeatedly broken, we may block the account after a warning; for serious breaches without warning.
7. Comments and discussions
You are responsible for what you post. Please be respectful and do not post unlawful content, advertising or other people’s personal data. You grant us the non-exclusive right to show your comments to other members on NoelleHUB. We may remove comments that break these rules. You can delete your own comments at any time.
8. Content and availability
The content is prepared with care for exam preparation. It does not replace textbooks, lectures or official guidelines and is not medical advice. NoelleHUB is an independent project and not affiliated with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hațieganu” Cluj-Napoca. We continuously update the content and may change, extend or restructure it. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access (e.g. during maintenance).
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for valid reasons (e.g. changes in the law or new features). We will inform you by email at least four weeks before the change takes effect. If you do not object within this period, the changed terms apply; we will point this out in the email. If you object, you may cancel the membership.
11. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Should a provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions stay valid.
